He was born and raised in the first capital Spanish Town, St. Catherine in Jamaica, the island of reggae icon Bob Marley. Growing up, both his parents ran a night bar. Music and fun was the center of this business. He would notice how his parents would collaborate with sound system selectors to create the right vibe for the business so the people can enjoy the experience.
These inspired him to be part of the industry. Entertainment comes with happiness that brings good health – and that is what Jahwaylife represents. As a musician he believes he’s creating a way of life for his listeners.
Focusing on life as it approaches us in different ways, he uses his music and other contents such as short story music videos and vlogs to interpret what the situation means to him. This allows his audience to relate to the topic and share how they feel.

If he had to choose only one artist to listen to in his everyday playlist, it would be Garnett Silk. Living legend Beres Hammond is one of his biggest influences to date although he’s still very much passionate about some of the new music coming from this generation. He wants to continue to add to the catalog so they can become a social relic.
The picture painted with his debut single Hypocrite as it depicts a friend can play two roles in your life at once, this leads to more original content expressing his thoughts and feelings on life experience with the influence of his team.
